Rugby World Cup Service.

PA Sport will be offering a complete suite of data, editorial and multimedia content for the Rugby World Cup, held in France from 7th September to 20th October 2007.

DATA

Our xml data services can be used to provide a detailed data feed from every World Cup game.  

Prior to the big kick off, PA Sport will provide a full fixture list with kick-off times and venue details.  We will also supply team line-ups together with substitute and referee details.

During the match, our live score feed will provide tries, penalties, drop-goals, conversions, substitutes, half-time scores and full-time results.

On completion of each game, we will supply league tables for each of the tournament's four groups.  

Our data feed is optimised for use on websites and mobile platforms and is timely, accurate and reliable making it ideal for a range of customers including bookmakers.

EDITORIAL

Our expert correspondents will be producing a vast range of editorial content for the tournament.  Prior to the opening game, our comprehensive features packages will include analysis, interviews and profiles focusing on all of the competing nations, as well as a host of general pieces.

VIDEO AND AUDIO CONTENT 

We will have video journalists at all of the venues throughout the duration of the World Cup.  We will be producing daily audio and video shows, ideal for podcasts.

Our ten minute audio clips will feature team news, breaking news, tournament reports and newspaper reviews.

The five minute video segments will be hosted by a presenter direct to camera and can feature guest players, actions stills and fan vox pops.  

Both the audio and video content can be fully branded for use on a customers website.

MATCH CENTRES

The PA Sport Match Centre offering contains live scores and statistics, team-line ups and live text commentary.

Live photos from each game, audio and video coverage plus an up-to-the minute news ticker are also part of the mix.
