PA SportsTicker appoints Christopher Dean as Managing Director 

PA SportsTicker, America's leading real-time sports news information provider, has appointed Christopher Dean as Managing Director responsible for managing the day to day operations. Within his remit he will be charged with driving growth and innovation with responsibility for overseeing US, Canada and Latin America.

Dean was formerly the EVP, Chief Operating Officer for Lulu.com, an international digital marketplace for online content. During his time at Lulu, Dean oversaw strategic planning and strong growth, while successfully implementing expansion plans in Europe, Australia, and Latin America.

Prior to joining Lulu, Dean was the General Manager of Business Operations for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, of the Canadian Football League, responsible for the daily operations and overseeing the restructure of their business in 2004- 2005. He also served on the League's Marketing and Broadcast Committee and the League's Board of Governors. Concurrent to the Tiger-Cats, he was President of MRX & Associates, a Marketing, Management and Media Company, servicing many North American Sports properties in the areas of technology and event management.

A native of Toronto, Canada, Dean's experience in business and sports management spans across North America. He has worked in both professional and collegiate sports at the Director
level, including stints with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and the University of Kansas Jayhawks in the areas of marketing, promotions, sales and partnerships.
Dean has a BA from the University of Toronto and a Masters degree in Sports Administration from the Florida State University.
